TAM center-driven scrapers are designed for installation and use in thickener and clarifier tanks at wastewater treatment plants.
The manufacturing material for the scraper mechanism is stainless steel.
Operating principle
The TAM scraper mechanism rotates continuously, and incoming wastewater or thickened sludge is directed to the center settling compartment of the tank. The effluent exits the tank through an overflow as the tank fills. The settled solids accumulate at the bottom of the tank, and the scraper mechanism, as it rotates, moves them towards the center pit. From there, the solids are pumped forward in the wastewater treatment process.
